‘Genevieve’ 1984 60ft 2+2 berth – Trad Stern – Colecraft/Tosca and Renovated by Owner

Trinity Marina
60ft +
Number of berths

A good condition, traditional narrowboat with Boatman’s Cabin.

From the bow where you have lockers either side for storage and for seating, you enter the boat through two glazed stable doors into the saloon.  To your right is a bookcase style shelving unit on the front bulkhead and another shelving unit further along to your right. To your left is a low level corner cupboard and immediately after that is the Villager solid fuel stove in a tiled hearth. The rest of the saloon has space for your chosen seating. Moving forward to the Galley you have a side door with hatch over and steps up for easy access in and out to your right, and following on, you have a L-shape worktop with a stainless steel sink and drainer, and hob inset into it, with a shelving unit above the hob. Under the worktop is the oven, grill and fridge with a cupboard.  To the left is another length of worktop with cupboards and drawers underneat

Continuing through the starboard side corridor, next is the bedroom with fixed double bed with drawers under and a high level cupboard at the foot of the bed. Next on the right is the Bathroom with a pump-out toilet, sink set into a vanity unit with cupboard underneath and a tiled shower cubicle.

Moving on you have the engine room with the Ruston 3YC diesel engine, with side hatches either side. Then you move into the Boatman’s Cabin with the traditionally painted cupboards, drawers, and table to the port side and seating opposite, and lastly in the right hand corner is the Boat-mans stove.

Finally, you go up the steps to access the trad stern.
